Professional logbook tool
LogBook Anaes is a professional tool for recording, reviewing and reporting your own anaesthetic work. It is not a medical device, clinical decision-support system, source of medical advice or substitute for professional judgement, local policy, regulatory requirements or formal training records.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- the accuracy, completeness and appropriateness of all entries;
- checking reports and exports before relying on or submitting them;
- meeting your professional, employer, regulatory and information-governance obligations;
- keeping your account and devices secure; and
- maintaining any exports or additional backups needed for your professional records.
Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information and take reasonable steps to protect your sign-in details. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by a failure of LogBook Anaes to use reasonable security measures.
You must not attempt to access another user's data, interfere with the app, bypass security controls, reverse engineer protected parts of the service or use the app unlawfully.
Availability, sync and backups
LogBook Anaes, cloud sync, backups, exports and related services are provided on a best-efforts basis. They may be unavailable, delayed, changed or interrupted because of maintenance, updates, internet or device problems, third-party services or events outside reasonable control.
No sync or backup system is infallible. You should verify important entries and maintain appropriate independent exports or backups.
Subscriptions and payments
Some features may require a paid subscription. Where applicable, the price, billing period and included features will be shown before purchase.
- Payments may be processed by Apple and/or Stripe.
- Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through the relevant payment provider before renewal.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription through the provider used for purchase.
- Refunds are handled under the payment provider's rules and any rights provided by applicable law.
- Access to paid features may end when a subscription expires or is cancelled.
App changes
Features may be added, changed or removed to maintain, secure or improve LogBook Anaes. Reasonable efforts will be made to avoid unnecessary disruption, but no particular feature or integration is guaranteed to remain available.
Intellectual property
LogBook Anaes and its app design, software, branding and original content are owned by or licensed to the operator. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose. You retain your rights in the logbook data you enter.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LogBook Anaes is provided without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for every professional requirement. The operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from inaccurate entries, reliance on unchecked reports, failure to maintain appropriate backups, or use outside the app's intended purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, respond to unlawful or abusive use, comply with legal obligations, or address a serious breach of these terms. You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled when you use LogBook Anaes.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the app, payment arrangements or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the terms were last revised. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
